The 500th seahorse rocket launcher system

According to the defense blog website on October 9, Lockheed Martin has completed the delivery of the 500th seahorse high mobility rocket launcher system. Lockheed Martin said that since its service in 2005, the “hippocampus” rocket system has proved its reliability and supported the combat operations of the United States and its allies around the world. Therefore, the U.S. Army, Marine Corps and allies have a high demand for this kind of rocket launcher. With the U.S. Army’s commitment to use the rocket until 2050, production of the seahorse will continue for many years to come. It is reported that the “haimas” system can choose two modes: one is to install a launcher with six rockets on the chassis, and the other is to install a surface to ground tactical missile.
