Russian warplanes intercepted three NATO warplanes in the Baltic Sea

According to the news released by the Russian Ministry of defense, on August 24 local time, the Russian Air Force urgently dispatched a Su-27 fighter plane to intercept three NATO military aircraft over the Baltic Sea near the Russian border. According to reports, the three aircraft are the RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft attached to the US air force, the Gulfstream reconnaissance aircraft affiliated to the Swedish Air Force and the Orion maritime patrol aircraft subordinate to the German Navy. The Russian military said that the flight of Russian warplanes was in full compliance with the rules for the use of international airspace, and NATO warplanes did not invade Russian airspace.
