Postponement of judgment on the assassination of former Prime Minister Hariri of Lebanon

According to local media reports later on the 5th, the verdict on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri of Lebanon was postponed until August 18. In February 2005, Rafik Hariri, who had resigned as prime minister, was killed in an attack in Beirut. In 2011, the United Nations Special Tribunal for Lebanon submitted the indictment of Hariri’s assassination case to the procuratorial organ of Lebanon and filed a lawsuit against four members of Lebanon. As a political and military force in Lebanon, it rejected the charges of the tribunal and denied that it was related to Hariri’s assassination.
