Moroccan police seized 2.44 tons of products

Rabat on November 7, Morocco’s National Security Bureau issued a communique on November 7, saying that police seized 2.44 tons of products near the northern city of husema. The situation of illegal cultivation in some areas of Morocco is serious, and most of the products are smuggled to Europe. Over the past 10 years, Moroccan security authorities have stepped up efforts to crack down on planting and product trading, seizing about 179 tons of products in 2019 alone.
