Kazakhstan and Russia sign new military cooperation agreement

Nursultan October 17 according to the website of Kazakhstan’s presidential Information Bureau, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu visited Kazakhstan on the 16th, signed a new military cooperation agreement between the two countries with Kazakh defense minister yermekbayev, and held talks with Kazakh President Tokayev on bilateral military cooperation. According to the agreement, Kazakhstan and Russia will strengthen cooperation in maintaining regional security, training military experts, carrying out joint military exercises, and deepen military cooperation under the framework of international organizations. According to the Ministry of defense of Kazakhstan, the agreement will enter into force after being deliberated by the Kazakh government, approved by the Parliament and signed by the president, and will replace the military agreement signed by the two countries in 1994.
