Iran’s president says he is willing to resume the implementation of Iran’s nuclear agreement with conditions

Tehran, December 14 Iranian President Rouhani said on the same day that if other parties to the comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear issue fulfill their commitments, Iran is also willing to resume fulfilling its commitments in the agreement. At the meeting held on the same day, Rouhani said that Iran urges the next administration led by US President elect Biden to return to the Iran nuclear agreement and fulfill relevant commitments. < / P > < p > Rouhani said Iran would not allow the United States to delay the end of sanctions against Iran. The Iranian government will make every effort to free the Iranian people from the “oppressive burden and wrong sanctions” from the US side. In July 2015, Iran reached a comprehensive agreement with the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany on the Iranian nuclear issue. According to the agreement, Iran promised to limit its nuclear program, and the international community lifted sanctions against Iran. The US government unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement in May 2018, and then restarted and added a series of sanctions against Iraq. Since May last year, Iran has gradually suspended the implementation of some provisions of the agreement, but promised that the measures it has taken are “reversible”.
