Governor of Beirut: the economic loss caused by the port explosion may be as high as 15 billion US dollars

According to Arabia TV reported on the 5th, Beirut governor Marwan abd said in an interview with the media that the economic losses caused by the explosion of Beirut port may be as high as 10 billion to 15 billion US dollars. Earlier in the day, Marwan estimated that the economic damage caused by the explosion was between $3 billion and $5 billion. Marwan also added that the port explosion caused the displacement of 300000 people in Lebanon. At least 135 people have been killed, more than 5000 injured and dozens more missing in the Beirut port explosion as of 21:00 local time on the 5th.
