FAW Mazda recalls 16792 ATZ vehicles due to fuel pump failure

On October 14, China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of market supervision and administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall management of defective automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall management of defective automobile products. From October 30, 2020, a total of 16792 domestic Mazda ATZ vehicles produced from September 20, 2018 to August 8, 2019 will be recalled. < / P > < p > due to the insufficient density of the impeller (made of resin) in the low-pressure fuel pump core of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the impeller is affected by the fuel in the process of use, resulting in swelling and deformation, and interference with the fuel pump shell and pump cover, resulting in poor operation of the low-pressure fuel pump core. In some cases, the vehicle may be unable to start or the engine stalls when the vehicle is running, which may cause potential safety hazards. < / P > < p > China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will entrust Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. to replace the improved low-pressure fuel pump core for vehicles within the scope of recall free of charge through authorized dealers, so as to eliminate potential safety hazards.
