Canada provides $5 million in aid to Lebanon for the Beirut bombings

Toronto, August 6, the Canadian government announced in Ottawa on the evening of August 5 local time that it would provide 5 million Canadian dollars of humanitarian aid to Lebanon for the major explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. < / P > < p > Canada’s global affairs department said that the aid included an initial $1.5 million grant from the Canadian Red Cross to local humanitarian partners such as the Lebanon Red Cross to help meet the emergency needs of the people affected by the incident.
