Build proton X50 based on Geely BMA platform and officially offline in Malaysia

On September 15, proton X50 officially went offline in Malaysia’s danrong Malin factory. It was built on Geely BMA platform and positioned as a compact SUV. Equipped with 1.5T turbocharged engine, 7-speed dual clutch transmission and advanced driving assistance system. < p > < p > proton X50 prototype car – Geely Binyue has been successfully listed in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other countries. Proton X50 will also inherit the global car gene, no longer limited to the local market of Malaysia, and will enter the ASEAN market in the near future. In terms of appearance, the new car will continue the design of the prototype car, with minor adjustments in details and the overall design style of proton family. In terms of power, the new car may be equipped with a 1.5T three cylinder turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 177 horsepower and a maximum torque of 255 nm, which is matched with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission
